Away from the Digital Felts
Over the last few weeks the weather has certainly cooled down all over, snow is falling in some places, and in other places it’s just raining money! Of note over the last few weeks was most certainly ThisisaTravisT’s trip to Monte Carlo and his absolutely amazing 5th place finish in the $30K NLHE 7-Handed event #7 of the Triton High Roller Series, for an astounding cash of $300,100, a bit over six times his largest ever cash!
Travis was featured on the Triton Live streams and can be seen in episode #2 of the videos for that event. He was featured on the Triton website itself, and on the app you can view the video. Most of the ACR Stormers Stream team and community were watching Travis through the app, and on the live stream featured tables. The ACR community showed mad love and support to him as he was playing his heart out and showing those boys he had the fortitude and the skill to not only hold his own, but to rep our team yet again in the series this year. Travis, we could not be more proud of you and it was an adventure you will never forget! Keep your eyes open for a more in depth piece coming soon on his adventures in Monaco.
The Online Felts
While Travis was scorching the live felts, Mike365 was destroying the online competition. On the sun run of his poker career, Mike binked two large field tourneys in the same week. First was an off stream tourney he took down on Saturday, October 28th. The Big10 $30K GTD PKO broke the guarantee and Mike took no mercy on his opponents, collecting $2125.52 in bounties and a first place cash of $2297.20 for a total takedown of $4422.72. Then a mere 6 days later on Friday, November 3rd, Mike took down Big10 $12.5K GTD event for a total cash of $2518.92. You can catch Mike streaming every Wednesday and many times on the weekends. This Northern Irishman showed that even a rec player with a full time job can pull in multiple four figure scores in a week – it’s not just for the pros at ACR. Congratulations Mike on breaking records, keep it up!
Deckflow is out there crushing souls as usual and took 1st in the $104.50 PKO Hyper on Friday, October 27th for $662.50 in bounties and a cash of $470.25, for a total of $1132.75. The very next day, he took 2nd in $109 $50K GTD PKO for $898.43 in bounties and a cash of $4729.34, for a total take home of $5627.77. He’s out there making it look easy folks!
Of course the other teammate making it look easy is Svencalls taking over $18K in cashes on Wednesday, November 25th! He was so in the zone, he only posted pics of the amounts, so I can’t tell you what events they were, just that they were huge!
Dmakk767 took down the $8.80 $1K GTD on Friday, November 3rd, for $231.23 and on Sunday, November 6th took 2nd in the $4.40 WOSS #17L 10K GTD for $1234.74.
Kontisnikos took 2nd in the $8.80 $3K GTD PKO for $33.01 in bounties and a $284.75 cash for a total of $317.76, on the same day.
One of our newer Stormers, Ubpoker took the trophy in the $4.40 WOSS #38L 3K GTD for $612.88 on Tuesday, November 7th.
On that same day, PatrickWhatUp took 3rd in the $22 WOSS #38H $15K GTD for $1659.06.
On Big Poker Thursdays, Svetarik was on fire when she took down the $109 Euro Warm Up $7500 GTD for $1187.50 in bounties and $868 for the first place cash, for $2055.50. Not done with the day, she took 3rd in the $109 WOSS #70 PKO $50K GTD for $156.25 in bounties and a $3474.75 cash, total take of $3631.00. Big Poker Thursdays is the new Sunday and Svetarik said it was her day!
Arlynnia has been making some waves too with final tables every stream, at times multiples FTs in stream, in everything from $6.60 $1K GTD PKOs up to the $88 Euro Breakfast $5K GTD.
ConkPokerTV is following suit with 4 final tables in one day on Friday, November 10th. He took 1st in a $5.50 $500 GTD Super Bounty, 3rd in the $11 $750 GTD PKO Turbo, 4th in the $16.50 Mega Stack, and another 1st in his $11 home game (rigged!), for a nice payday of over $500.
Charity Outreach
Also of note was the amazing fundraising drive that three of our most lovely Stormers set out to do in the month of October. Arlynnia, Kymmers66, and VioletMystery4ever all set out to raise as much money as they could for the United Breast Cancer Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each lady set an individual goal of $2K in their respective streams, and triple hosted a $2500 GTD Fundraiser Tourney on Sunday October 22nd, that we nearly broke the GTD on, and ACR generously donated from that game. Together, ACR and the girls raised over $6000 for the cause! Impressive effort by the team to make a difference in the world! We also owe a big thank you to everyone who kindly donated to our fundraising efforts, you all are legends in your own right! Speaking of making a difference, don’t forget that the ladies are also running a Community Kindness Project that you will want to get in on! Read more about it over at the Ladies Night Lounge Website, and don’t forget to bookmark that page too!
Current ACR Series
We have the Winter Online Super Series running right now until November 27th with fat GTDs, buy in levels for everyone, and leaderboards running on the M and H events. We are also introducing a new weekly Stormer Home Game, Stormers “The Eleven Dolla Classic”, that will be starting on Tuesday, November 14th at 1pm EST. This is a Stormer wide home game that is open to the public, but you need to visit your favorite Stormer who is streaming it to get the password. This is an $11 buy in with a $2500 GTD. Rebuys and and add ons are available in the game and if you can final table it back to back, you will pick up an additional $500 Tournament Ticket Bundle! Also new to the streets is The ACR Community Discord Channel Game with a $1K GTD and only a $1.10 buy in. Rebuys and add ons are available in this game as well, and you will find the password for it in the ACR Community Discord. If you are not already a member of our community Discord, you are missing out on a great hub and of course, opportunities that arise over there. What are you waiting for? Get in on the action in Discord and in the new community games! We’ve got another in the works, so we’ll keep you guys posted on that as it develops.
Just because the year is winding down doesn’t mean that we as a team are. So make sure to visit and engage in your favorite Stormer’s streams and if you aren’t sure who all is a Stormer or who is streaming, you can always visit the Stream Team tab and the Twitch Wall tab here on the ACR Stormer Website. Feel free to ask questions in the ACR Community Discord and in our streams, we are here to help and create a strong community!
