Oversized September brought XL results amongst Team ACR Stormers!
September was jam-packed of oversized GTDs, the OSS XL Leaderboards, insane player fields, the High Stakes Adventure Monte Carlo, the Stomer OSS Charge Challenge, and our Stream Big winners who joined the team. The team was completely dominating the Twitch Poker directory throughout the month with all of this action and the hard work is paying off. Our diverse team is making waves with raking in new sign ups, first time deposits, and showing we have the best poker community out there on the online felts! A huge shout out to our wonderful manager, Adam, who is constantly working to come up with new ideas and ways to grow us to the best poker streaming team on the internet. Without him, the amazing growth that has taken place over the last year wouldn’t have happened, and as a team we are grateful for everything he does. He truly is an unsung hero. Thank you Adam.
The OSS XL Series was part of our High Stakes Adventure, with one aspect of it being the OSS grind for points, and the sheer amount of volume put in by the team was incredible. Most notably Thatbreadthough (FragranceGuy) and Pokerpastor who both finished well on the OSS XL (L) Leaderboard. FragranceGuy took 1st for the $2500 prize and Pokerpastor took 6th for $251 in ACR Ticket Rewards. Congratulations to the both of you, the hours you put in paid off!
Those finishes on the Leaderboard also meant that they submitted a slew of entries for the OSS Challenge part of our High Stakes Adventure Monte Carlo. Dmakk767 was a grinding beast with a load of submissions as well. There were many deep runs, final tables, and binks obtained in OSS events from ThisisatravisT, Thatbreadthough, and Deckflow. Deckflow pulled out a nearly $9K cash in the OSS #7L $40K GTD for taking down an early $55 buy in event (pictured below). 2nd place finishes were made by PatrickWhatUp twice, multiple 3rd and 4th place finishes by Thatbreadthough, ThisisatravisT, and Pokerpastor. Final tables were also seen by Dmakk, Twinnypoker and Zafstop. A job well done in fields so large deserves to be brought to the forefront in a 5 week long challenge that can put the best of us to an endurance test.
Throughout the month, during the grind for the OSS Leaderboard, another challenge was put forth, The OSS Charge Challenge, which was the formation of 28 teams, each one with a team Captain and two members from their community chosen at the beginning of the challenge. Overall leaderboard points were used for this competition, and after the dust settled, we had the top three places claimed by the following:

As the OSS started to wind down, things were heating up in regards to the $110k High Stakes Monte Carlo Adventure. As we know, this is a multi-pronged challenge in which there is more than one way to win your seat to the final 9. However, when it comes down to those final nine, the pressure is really on. After a very long and hard fought battle on that day, our wonder from down under, ThisisatravisT emerged victorious! Soon he will be off to the exotic locale of Monaco to represent Team ACR along with Pros Ryan DePaulo and Michal Loncar! We are all rooting for you Travis and will be railing you to the end!
We also saw the addition of 6 new teammates added to our roster of amazing streamers from the Stream Big Competition that concluded around the halfway through the month. Adam made this groundbreaking announcement live on the ACR Show on Friday, September 15th, and made 6 very nervous finalists extremely happy since 4 of them didn’t think they would make the cut. We proudly welcome Bremp555, ConkpokerrTV RichardBeastmode, Bigfishnoshrimp, Ubpoker, and TheGGoker to the team! Keep up the hard work you put forth throughout the competition and you will reap the rewards!
As if that isn’t enough blood pumping excitement, we have a teammate that has risen to the rank of Elite Stormer, Blasnair of Argentina, showing he has put the work into building and growing his stream and community to the best it can be. Uncleslacker just made Twitch Partner during the month, earning himself that beautiful purple check mark and the perks that come with it. Congratulations to the both of you for achieving some very difficult benchmarks in the world of poker streaming!
Last and certainly not least, is the addition to our team of one of the biggest online crushers out there, a man that really needs no introduction, Svencalls. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as he had just scooped a WSOP bracelet and $254k in an online event.
