We’ve got some big time crushing going on!
The month of August has been incredibly hot, not only outdoors, but also on the ACR felts. Scorching hot scores have been made all month by team members of the ACR Stormers Stream Team, some of which we are going to start shedding light on so that everyone can see what this amazing team is doing out there on the virtual streets. Our team puts in dedicated hard work, long grinds, and shines the light on ACR Poker every time they hit that go live button. It is time to turn that light around and shine it back on some of those that deserve to be in the light for the amazing love that they give their game, their streams, and their communities.
The $20k score above was achieved by resident crusher Cheesebunnies, aka MichaelBubble, in the Hi5 series that was running from August 6th through August 27th. This event was the $215 buy in, Hi5 #76 Top Shelf Shake $300,000 GTD PKO on Sunday, August 13th. At around 1:00 am, after a final table deal was made, Cheesebunnies walked away with a cash of $20,151.04 and around $6k in bounties, for a total score of a little over $26k. Cheese puts in the study and it is shown time and time again in his results. You’ll not want to miss future action in this soul crusher’s stream. On Friday, August 18th, Zafstop took a podium finish 3rd in the $109 buy in, Hi5 #112 Wake N Bake $75,000 GTD event, taking home a very nice chunky payday of $9,312.98. Nice run and well done Zafstop! But he wasn’t done there. On Sunday, August 27th, he also took a 4th place finish in the $33 buy in, Big10 $80,000 GTD event, for a very cool $5,392.47. On the same day, in the $109 buy-in, $80,000 GTD, he finished 9th for a $1373.85 cash. Again, adding thousands more to his higher scores this month, showing that for this crusher, deep runs and great scores are a regular occurrence for this Stormer!
Another absolute soul eater out there is Deckflow, who on Saturday, August 5th, in a $109 buy in, $3000 GTD PKO Turbo, took a bink to the bank with a cash of $728.50 and $1156.24 in bounties, for a total prize of $1884.74. That’s nearly two thirds of the total guaranteed prize pool, which is unusual in any tournament, and incredibly impressive! He took no mercy there, nor did he on Wednesday, August 23rd, when he took down the $88 buy-in, $5000 GTD Euro Breakfast, which happened to overlay that day, for another $1750.00. Deckflow will wield no mercy on the felts, that win is his!
Another regular deep runner is ACR Stormer BrandonSligh. Not only does he regularly crush the cash tables, he’s out there mixing it up on the MTT streets as well. On Friday, August 18th, Brandon took a very nice 2nd place finish in a $55 buy in, $4000 GTD Turbo, for a very nice $624.75 cash and $87.50 in bounties for a total of $712.25. On Sunday, August 27th, he also had a 3rd place podium finish in an $88 buy-in, $5000 GTD Mega Stack, for a very cool $750.57. Well done Brandon!
Our newest addition to the team, PatrickWhatUp, who has recently decided to take a turn from Creative Director for Hustler Live Casino after 11 years and joined Team ACR Stormers and made waves. On an unassuming Tuesday, August 24th, Patrick took down the $4.40 Hi5 #190 Irle Herbs $4000 GTD event for an astounding 176x buy in cash for $774.57! Patrick, you know how to make an entrance! Welcome to the team, and we look forward to seeing more regular mentions in the spotlight.
Rounding out these amazing runs are additional great results from the following team members, Svetarik, GeneralsPoker, and VioletMystery4ever. Thursday, August 25th, GeneralsPoker took 1st place in a $33 Mega Stack $4000 GTD event for $776.25. On Saturday, August 26th, Svetarik took down a $22 buy-in, $2000 GTD 6-Max PKO, for a cash of $304.20 and $407.32 in bounties, total 1st place winnings of $711.52. Last and certainly not least, is VioletMystery4ever, aka VioletMystery, who is regularly taking down On Demands, too many to actually post, but must be celebrated. Well done team and keep it up! We are looking forward to some massive news in the coming month with the ACR Poker Online Super Series XL featuring a whopping $60,000 Leaderboard throughout the series running from September 3rd through October 2nd. The more you grind the OSS XL series events, the more you increase your chances of a shot at placing on that massive leaderboard.
